Taxi and meal delivery company Uber is giving Canadian customers the option to order weed and then collect it at the store.

You can do that from Monday with Uber Eats in the city of Toronto, among others. It was already possible to have spirits delivered.

According to Uber, the partnership with Canadian cannabis producer Tokyo Smoke will ensure that adults purchase legally safe cannabis. According to the meal deliverer, it will also contribute to combating the illegal market.

Uber previously said it wanted to target the fast-growing cannabis market.

CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in April that the company is considering home delivery of cannabis in the United States when the law allows it.
